EVENTS

PARTESS-COM organises targeted events, workshops, and training sessions to strengthen the preventive protection of religious institutions in Europe and beyond. These activities bring together stakeholders from religious communities, public authorities, and civil society to share knowledge, build trust, and improve cooperation.

LOCAL TRAININGS FOR FAITH COMMUNITIES

Dec 2025 - June 2026 | 12 European cities

As of December, cost-free one-day training events will be held in Dublin, Bucharest, Vienna, Rome, The Hague, Athens, Paris, Madrid, Lodz, Varna, Berlin and Riga.  Designed for faith leaders, volunteers, and others involved in Places of Worship, the programme covers extremism prevention, crisis communication, vulnerability assessments, and incident reporting. Participants will benefit from practical sessions and expert input, both in person and through an online forum.

EUROPEAN TRAININGS

April - June 2026 | Brussels

Three cost-free, one-day training sessions will focus on prevention, protection and resilience for places of worship: From Risk to Resilience (14 April 2026), Protecting What Matters (20 May 2026), and Communicating Under Pressure (10 June 2026). For law enforcement, city representatives and religious leaders, the sessions offer practical tools and transferable methods for vulnerability assessment, prevention planning and crisis communication. Travel, accommodation (night before) and subsistence will be covered.

EUROPEAN FOLLOW-UP EVENT

24 September 2026 | Online

For participants in the PARTESS-COM trainings in Bucharest, Riga, Sofia, Athens and Częstochowa.

 

This one-hour follow-up to the local trainings will give participants an opportunity to reflect on how the training content has been used in practice. They can share measures taken since the training, discuss remaining challenges, exchange experiences with participants from other European cities and learn about emerging security needs and relevant PARTESS-COM resources.
 

SIMULATION TRAININGS

March - May 2026 | Athens & Częstochowa

Designed for faith leaders, volunteers, community representatives, law enforcement, and other stakeholders involved in local safety, the trainings will use realistic threat scenarios affecting Places of Worship.

Participants will work through practical exercises on crisis response, communication, decision-making, and cooperation between religious communities and public authorities.

The programme will focus on identifying coordination gaps before incidents occur, strengthening preparedness, and supporting structured prevention and reporting practices.

EUROPEAN FOLLOW-UP EVENT

10 September 2026 | Online

For participants in the PARTESS-COM trainings in Dublin, Vienna, Berlin, Milan, Rotterdam, Granada and Paris.


This one-hour follow-up session to the local trainings will help participants apply the training content in practice. They can discuss measures introduced since their training, raise unresolved questions, compare experiences with peers from other European cities and receive updates on emerging security needs and relevant PARTESS-COM resources.
